At Climate Benefits we’re building a high performance team, not a family. Being nice and genuine is a prerequisite but we’re constantly optimizing for efficiency, skills, and growth.

Generally, we have a low ego and no-nonsense attitude towards work. We make decisions based on data, move quickly, and operate close to a true meritocracy. We’ve built feedback loops to make sure we’re constantly improving.

We have a framework for decision making. Every decision made at the company falls into 1 of the following 3 categories. It’s our job as a team to communicate which category each decision falls into.

• Democratic: We all come together as a team and make a decision together. This typically is decided by a majority vote.
• Republic: We empower managers to make decisions on behalf of the organization.
• Dictatorship: Our CEO, Param Jaggi, makes a decision on behalf of the organization.
